外國人來台,最好拉近距離的方式當然是帶他們去逛逛我們台灣最有名的小吃了呀!不過就算英文很好的人,面對食物的中文,應該也會需要思考一番吧!來介紹一下台灣小吃的英文吧!
臭豆腐 stinky tofu

“stinky”的英文是「臭」的意思,每次有外國人來,最想嘗試的是鼎鼎大名的臭豆腐,不過喜歡的人就喜歡,不喜歡的人就離得遠遠的了!

去夜市一定要吃蚵仔煎的呀!滿滿的蚵仔加上蛋,美味極了!不過也是很多人不敢吃蚵仔,那現在也是有很多店有賣蝦仁煎喔!

豬血糕是用豬血加上糯米等食材製成的小吃,抹上醬油再沾滿花生粉及香菜,所以你也可以稍微跟外國朋友介紹一下:Blood pudding is a solid patty of pig blood and rice. It’s served with soy sauce, peanut powder, and coriander.

刈包類傳統餡料通常有五花滷肉、酸菜、花生粉(混糖粉)及香菜等。買刈包時也可以選擇滷肉是要肥的五花肉還是瘦的瘦肉。因為吃法很像漢堡,所以有「臺式漢堡」稱謂。

做法是先以醬料醃漬雞胸肉入味,再沾滿麵包粉或地瓜粉下鍋油炸,起鍋後再灑上胡椒鹽,每個夜市幾乎都會看到喔!

滷肉飯是台灣非常有特色的小吃!北部的滷肉飯淋上含有煮熟碎豬肉或炒香的肉燥及醬油滷汁,有時醬汁裡亦會有香菇丁等的成份在內,而在臺灣南部是指有著滷汁塊狀肉的切丁滷肉飯,有些店家會配上筍乾及醃蘿蔔乾。

小籠包的英文字裡有個 “soup”,是因為小籠包汁多、味鮮、皮薄,薄薄的皮把甜美的湯汁包在裡面!

以地瓜粉、太白粉、或再來米粉、樹薯等材料做成的半透明肉圓皮包裹著豬肉及其他配料。
